My work is concerned primarily with interpretations of landscapes, based on observations and memory of time spent here in the UK, particularly in areas around  North and East Yorkshire and travels abroad.

Each year a new county of Britain is chosen to visit and explore and this visit often results in a new body of work and together with journeys abroad means landscape has provided a never ending source of inspiration.

The final work sometimes boarders on abstraction but my primary focus is on colour relationships using mixed media to reflect textures and colours observed .
